Coburg Cakes

Ingredients For 15 Cakes
Refined flour 170 gm
Butter 85 gm
Sugar 85 gm
Egg 2
Soda bicarbonate a pinch
Ginger little
Cinnamon powder 1/4 tsp each
Warm water 1 tbsp
Golden syrup 1 tbsp
All spice powder 1/4 tsp

Methods to Prepare:

  • Sieve dry ingredients together, then cream fat and sugar
  • Beat eggs and add gradually, beating mixture all the time
  • Then mix warm water and golden syrup to that mixture
  • Finally put this mixture into a well greased and floured patty tin and bake at 190 degree Celsius (375 F) for over 20 minute
  • Then take out and its ready to serve
